Today my wife bought us the following book, Texas DTPA Forms and Practice Guide  ,  off of Amazon.com that I referenced at the Fort Worth Law Library over my Christmas vacation. This book has all the laws and examples on how to file a petition in civil court against an entity or person. This is the same lawbooks that lawyers use to file petitions as well. With some reading and enough research you can figure this out on your own without a lawyer. You can always pay a lawyer to review your petition before submitting it in the event you have concerns. We may do this just to be safe as it will still be cheaper if we do this than pay a lawyer to. The book is $100 and is well worth it for our case to be able to use as a reference.

yellowpages.com enables dishonest businesses to keep trapping victims.

I have noticed that yp.com allows the comany to flag a negative review as abuse and the review gets hidden and the reviewer is no longer able to post reviews on this business or edit  or add any new reviews basically banning the user id. You would have to keep creating new yahoo id's or other id's to be able to get around this. Imagine you are an honest customer like myself that got swindled out of thousands or just was given horrible service by a company and you post your honest review. He just flags it and it goes away. What a dis-service to the public and I and other people should no longer trust anything from yp.com because it is completely biased.

Thank you for getting back to us. We apologize that your review was removed.
Please note, an advertiser on our site does not have the ability to pick out
specific reviews that they want to display (such as only showing positive
reviews).

The way that a representative of a business can deal with negative reviews are
to respond to the review by clicking on 'Respond' underneath the review to
provide an explanation to other users. If they believe the review is fraudulent,
abusive or unfair, they can also use the 'Report Abuse' button underneath the
review and explain why it should be removed. These submissions will be processed
by a reviews team on our end.

In this instance, it is likely that a representative of this business used the
‘Report Abuse’ feature and their submission was approved by our Rating & Reviews
team. This would mean that future attempts to post a review from that same
username for that listing will be prevented by our system.

We are sorry to hear of your negative experience with this business and hope
this clarifies how our review system works.

Best regards,

New post on YP.COM

This post was added to Five Star construction Yellow pages ad.  the user nancyrodriguez635 experienced the same exact thing that my wife and I experienced with Peter Johannesen. I am betting Peter will get this negative review removed from YP.com because that's how yellowpages.com works as they support the businesses deception.

Please stay away from Peter Johannesen. He changes company name every time he runs away with money. Please check his BBB rating at Johannesen Construction and Johannesen Enterprises. Its sad that he can get away with stealing money from his innocent customers. We hired him for our kitchen work and never saw him after the down payment. He will promise you the world just to get the check. Once he gets his check, next day his BS starts. He will start with how he is doing you the biggest favor and will not be able to finish the job unless he gets more money. STAY AWAY and you will thank me..
